KOREHA ZOMBIE DESU KA!!

Hey! Look what I found!! An anime about a Zombie!! Yes, the main character is a Zombie!! Add a Necromancer, a Masou Shoujo, and Vampire-Ninja and what do you get? Koreha Zombie Desu Ka?!

Ayumu Aikawa, a regular high school boy who got killed by a serial killer and then resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer, Eucliwood Hellscythe. Ayumu then came across a demon known as Megalo which Haruna, a masou shoujo, was battling. For unknown reasons, Haruna's magic was absorbed by Ayumu and is now forced to replace her as a masou shoujo. The bad thing about Ayumu being a masou shoujo? He's a boy, and a masou shoujo, well think about SailorMoon's costume and put a boy in it! Yeah! Really! Then a vampire-ninja, Seraphim came to ask for a favor from Eulciwood but she refuses. Sera (Seraphim) then battles Ayumu to take his place as Eu's (Eucliwood) servant. Sera loses, and ends up as Ayumu's servant, hoping to get Eu to change her mind. Ayumu tries to find his murderer and the mystery behind it. And the story goes on!!

A wacky cast of characters keeps the story interesting. The anime treads the genres, comedy, fantasy, romance, action and harem. The battles are good and exciting. Lot's of funny scenes as well. The story goes deep along the way. All in all, a good anime and watching it is definitely worthwhile.

Short character description:

Ayumu Aikawa - a very unique zombie for he has a will of his own. He can't stay out in the sun for long for he will dry out . And he has this very.... well.... creative imaginations! You'll just have to find it out!

Eucliwood Hellscythe - Nercomancer. Doesn't speak and always emotionless for reasons that you will get to know as the story goes along.

Haruna - the Masou Shojou. Has a chainsaw called Mystletainn which she uses to fight Megalos. Can make exceptionally tasty fried eggs!

Seraphim - Vampire-ninja. Greatly disgusts Ayumu.  Loves everything about her secret technique called Tsubamegaeshi!!

and oh here is Ayumu-Masou_Shoujo!!

GOKAIGER (Pirate Sentai Gokaiger)

The strongest Super Sentai yet!! Gokaiger!!!

When Earth was attacked by the Space Empire Zangyack, the 34 super sentai fought to protect the Earth, and the battle became known as the Legendary War. To defeat the empire, all the warriors of the Super Sentai combined their powers thus restoring peace and saving Earth. The Super Sentai warriors, no longer able to fight, became heroes of legend.

Years has passed. A group of Space Pirates finds their way to Earth seaching for "The Greatest Treasure in the Universe". At the same time, the Space Empire Zangyack returns to again invade Earth. Caught in the conflict, upset over a spilled curry and sympathy for Earth, the wanted space pirates Gokaiger fights against the Space Empire Zangyack army and continue searching for the Greatest Treasure.

I think this Super Sentai is gonna be interesting. Gokaiger is the Sentai version of the Kamen Rider Decade series. For those who doesn't know Kamen Rider Decade (he's the 10th of  the Heisei Kamen Rider Series of tokusatsu dramas), Decade can use the powers of previous Kamen Riders (using a card he changes and becomes them).Gokaigers have Ranger Keys which gives them access to the powers of the previous 34 Super Sentai teams. And then they change they shout...

GOKAI CHANGE!!

Nice!! All Red!! Though this is not the first time all the Red in each Sentai teamed up, this is the first for me to see a female version of those Red! (tell me if you already saw a female version of the male RED sentai before)
Now  who is their first GOKAI Change??? (Drum Roll)

GORANGER!!

Goranger?? The first Super Sentai!! Sweet!! They did the Goranger Hurricane trash compactor version!!
Later changed to Shinkenger and Magiranger. Then, their signature move...

FINAL WAVE!!

Wahooo! Also! The fight scenes are excellent!! Dual blades, Gun Kata, Whip/Saber?!!

And talk about the transformation sequence!!

And then the Gokaiger crew!!
Navi - robot parrot/navigator

Don - the brains of the team

Ahim - Royal like (cute)

Luka - nobody loves treasure more than her ( I like her by the way!!)

Joe - Second mate, always serious

Captain Marvelous - yep that's his name!

That's what the 35th Super Sentai Gokaiger is about!! I really look forward for the upcoming episodes!! Another great sentai series and definitely a must see for sentai fans like me.  Enjoy watching!!

Oh, expect lots of new toys as well, especially the Ranger Keys! Gotta catch 'em all??

MONSTER HUNTER!! the experience!!

All Monster Hunter fanatics are running wild when it's newest installment, Monster Hunter Portable 3rd was released in Japan!! The english version of the game will take a while before it's released, but that doesn't stop the die hard fans to play the game.Relying on wiki and forums to help them play, Monster Hunter is once again, a big hit!! And as for me, i'm one of them!!!

I've been playing games for a very long time. Though i'm not a hardcore gamer, I still played a lot! Starting with Nintendo's Family Computer (NES) down to Sony's PSP and PC games. Tried a lot of game styles, RPG's, Shooter, Arcade, Strategy and MMO's as well. I never liked playing alone so RPG games, for me, tends to get a little boring. Especially games that are single player only, no matter how awesome the graphics is. I enjoy Shooter games, I suck at Arcade and I love Strategy Games. MMO's gave me the satisfaction for a while, but it still not enough. Then came MONSTER HUNTER!!

I have my DS and was playing Pokemon back then when a friend from work asked me why I bought a DS instead of a PSP. I said "there wasn't a game that I like on the PSP" or something like that. Pokemon was the only RPG I played, Mario Kart is really addicting especially when I race with my friends who also owns a DS, and the latest Final Fantasy Tactics!! He showed me then, what he was playing. Monster Hunter 2G!! Together with another friend, they played and explained to me the game style of Monster Hunter. That was it!
What I was looking for a game was there!

  • MULTIPLAYER -  up to 4 players
  • NO LEVELING - unlike in MMO's which you have to have the same level or within 10 levels to party with other players, so a level 99 can't party with a level 1. Monster Hunter has what you call Hunter Ranking (HR). Some monsters has HR requirements before you can hunt them, but high HR players can join low HR players in hunting monsters within their  HR limit.
  •  NON-TARGETING SYSTEM - it means you have to manually target, attack, block or dodge. You don't rely on level but rather you rely on your skills when you hunt.
  • CUSTOMIZABLE WEAPONS and ARMORS - a lot of games have this, but what does it mean? Other games allows you to wear different armor and weapons, but at the end all players look the same. Why? Because the high level armors and weapons always has the highest def or atk stats. Monster Hunter is the same up to that point only. The armor sets give skills, and you can mix and match different armors to get your desired skill, so as the weapons. (What I like in strategy games is how you equip your units, same goes for Monster Hunter.)
  • NO JOB, CLASS RESTRICTION - Monster Hunter doesn't have jobs or class so you can use any weapon you want. And it promotes different character builds as well.
  • AWESOME GRAPHICS!! - I know, I don't really care but it's a plus!
I think that was all what I liked about Monster Hunter or what I can only remember. I had to buy a PSP just to play it!! The game gets better when you play with others. The rush, the thrill!! It's a game that can make you shout for glory! It's always a challenge! You can love or hate the monster you encounter. The AI is great that almost every battle is different. Here's a glimpse for those who haven't played or seen Monster Hunter.

The Monster Hunter community is really great. Providing information and tips for the game. And then, the heroes who made language patches for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. Thanks to them, the fans who can't read japanese can now play with ease. It still a long way before the north american version is released, but when that time comes, let us, the FANS, support capcom, and buy the game. This will ensure of another Monster Hunter release!!

Pioneer One!

It's a new year, and my first post! I've been thinking what to write when I discovered something on the web. I love watching movies even the "B-movies" and TV shows, so I frequently browse the web for old and new ones that I haven't seen. Then I came across with "Pioneer One"!! What is this?

PIONEER ONE is an independent film project by Josh Bernhard and Bracey Smith. Funded just through donations and distributed by fans and the first TV series to be released on BitTorrent networks. AWESOME!! It now has two episodes released. Here's the site: http://vodo.net/1Mg5

For a low budget film, Pioneer One Is pretty well made. The story  is interesting and addictive. By the way, I prefer watching indie films, so just in case you don't like this series, I don't blame you. HA! HA!

The plot as far as episode 2 goes, a mysterious object falls from the sky which it turns out to be a spaceship. In the crash, a live human being is discovered and believed to be a Russian based on the space suit and a note that says... Hell! Just watch the show!! I don't want to spoil the fun!
